This Miraculous Medal of the Immaculate Conception is the medal Our Blessed Mother gave to St. Catherine herself in the year of Our Lord, 1830. After the third visitation to sister Catherine, Mary gave the instructions/images of a medal heaven desired to be struck and distributed among society. 

After Sister Catherine receive permission from her superiors, a medal made secretly and the first medals received among the locals were immediately claiming this new small sacramental of the Blessed Virgin Mary as MIRACULOUS, and how it was refered by those who entrusted their llives to her.
